Imagination is the gateway to empowerment

Emmy Kreilkamp is a theatre artist based in the Pacific Northwest. She is a playwright, director and professor of theatre and drama. Her writing has been presented, performed and/or published with Chicago Dramatists, The Midwest Dramatists Center, Mad Lab Theatre, Free Fall Stage, DramaLlama, the University of Texas-Austin and The University of Southern Maine. As a teaching artist, dramaturg, and educator she has worked with the University of Chicago’s Court Theatre, Still Point Theatre Collective, Famous Door Theatre, the Pacific Northwest Playwrights’ Alliance, and Tacoma Arts Live. Emmy holds a PhD in Theatre and Drama from Indiana University, and an M.A. from Kent State University. She currently teaches Theatre and Drama in Washington State.
